Little Red Writing is proud to announce that we will serve as one of several sponsors for Nashville’s first St. Patrick’s Day parade in nearly twenty years! We’re in great company, too. Other sponsors include US Bank, symGLASS, Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, McNamara’s Irish Pub and Restaurant, The Lost Paddy Irish Pub and Restaurant, and our very good friends at 12-Point SignWorks Visual Branding Solutions.

The march will start at 10 am on Saturday, March 18th, stepping off in Five Points with traditional Celtic music by the Nashville Firefighters Pipes & Drums. Other special guests include Vice Mayor Jim Shulman as Grand Marshall, the Scott-Ellis School of Irish Dance, and the Nashville Gaelic Athletic Club (NGAC). All this wouldn’t be possible without the Irish Network Nashville’s hard work and planning to bring the parade back to life.

The celebration doesn’t end there. Music and dance performances will continue in Five Points locations Beyond the Edge, Five Points Diner and Bar, Boston Commons, and Drifter’s BBQ. Then, starting at 2 pm, the NGAC and Scott-Ellis School of Irish Dance will cohost a family-friendly St. Patrick’s Party with East Nashville Beer Works.

Here’s a fun fact: our owner Jennifer Barry has some experience with Irish culture. Her husband, Liam, is a bona fide Cork man, and they both serve on the board of the Nashville Gaelic Athletic Club. Expect to see them both marching in the parade.

Get out this weekend and support your Nashville Irish community at the parade, at some pubs, or with your Irish friends. We hope to see you there!
